Center for Excellence for Cancer Treatment and Immunotherapy Research (CECTIR)

CECTIR is a specialty out-patient clinical research and cancer treatment center located with Sukumvit Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. The center was established by physicians and scientists affiliated with the Thailand National Cancer Institute and the Thai Ministry of Public Health to provide both world-class cancer treatment and clinical research. CECTIR staff physicians have specialized in hematology/oncology, surgical oncology, radiation oncology, interventional radiology and infectious disease. The center aims to bring state-of-the-art cancer treatment to Thai patients and medical tourists in a research environment. Staffed with oncology nurses, clinical trial coordinator and clinical research associates with extensive clinical trial experience, CECTIR has a laboratory facility for processing and storage of tissue and blood samples for research. In addition, the center has a sophisticated information technology infrastructure for electronic medical records and case report forms.
